Platform Support Engineer

We are looking for a Platform Support Engineer / Enterprise Systems Support Engineer to join our Enterprise Systems team. This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining enterprise infrastructure platforms, ensuring high availability, system performance, and timely resolution of technical incidents.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, Linux administration, and enterprise support operations, and is comfortable working in a 24/7 support environment.

• Provide administration, monitoring, and support for VMware virtualization environments.
• Assist in managing and supporting Nutanix infrastructure.
• Perform Linux system administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Handle incidents, service requests, and escalations through ticketing systems.
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure-related issues within agreed service levels.
• Collaborate with Level 2 support teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical concerns.
• Maintain accurate documentation, incident reports, and operational procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations and shift schedules to support business-critical systems.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments, particularly VMware, Nutanix, and Linux platforms.
• Working knowledge of:
• VMware virtualization administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Nutanix platform operations and support.
• Linux system administration, user management, and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with IT service management processes, including incident handling, ticket management, escalation procedures, and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 operations environment, including rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, night shifts, and on-call assignments
