Job Description
Our client is actively looking an Application Support Engineer, who will spend day investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. The role involves careful analysis and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation and minimal disruption.Also, collaborate with different teams to maintain system stability and support ongoing business activities effectively.
Qualifications- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Cobol Mainframe.
- Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with IBM Db2, IBM Information Management System (IMS) Database.
- Strong understanding of mainframe environments and batch processing.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues.
- Familiarity with system monitoring and performance tuning techniques.
- Ability to analyze logs and system outputs to identify root causes of problems.
- Work Set up: Hybrid, 2x a week onsite
- Shift Schedule: Mid Shift 2pm to 12mn
- Project Location (During onsite): Taguig
