Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Manager is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of technology projects, ensuring alignment with defined scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards. This role drives execution across cross-functional teams—including development, QA, infrastructure, and business stakeholders—to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions aligned with organizational goals.

The Project Manager leads the full project lifecycle from initiation through closure, including requirements gathering and definition, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare. They ensure all deliverables meet agreed success criteria and are formally accepted by stakeholders.

This role is responsible for proactive governance and control, including the management of risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and change requests (RAID), while ensuring compliance with PMO standards, organizational frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), security policies, and quality requirements.

The Project Manager provides structured reporting and executive visibility through RYG status, dashboards, and stakeholder communications, enabling timely decision-making and escalation management.

Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to drive accountability, manage competing priorities, and ensure predictable, value-driven delivery in a fast-paced environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Project Management Process Mastery
  1. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and in accordance with PM Procedure;
  2. Ensure alignment of project objectives with business goals, customer expectations, and organizational priorities;
  3. Identify key stakeholders and establish stakeholder engagement and communication approach;
  4. Develop detailed project management plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans;
  5. Establish baselines for scope, schedule, cost, and quality metrics for performance tracking;
  6. Define project governance structure, roles, responsibilities, and escalation paths;
  7. Plan risk management, communication, quality, and change management strategies;
  8. Effectively plan and manage project financials, resource utilization, and overall performance metrics;
  9. Manage end-to-end project execution to ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget;
  10. Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure tasks are clearly defined and assigned;
  11. Lead project meetings, status reporting, and stakeholder presentations;
  12. Facilitate communication between stakeholders and ensure alignment on project goals;
  13. Ensure delivery outcomes meet defined success measures;
  14. Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations;
  15. Monitor project progress and ensure timely reporting of status, risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies;
  16. Track project performance using KPIs, metrics, and analyze trends/data for continuous improvement;
  17. Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and implement contingency plans;
  18. Manage scope changes through formal change control processes;
  19. Escalate issues proactively with clear context and recommended actions;
  20. Ensure compliance with organizational standards, procedures, methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid), and governance frameworks;
  21. Ensure accurate and up-to-date project documentation including plans, RAID logs, reports, and repositories;
  22. Ensure formal project closure including completion validation, stakeholder acceptance, and documentation;
  23. Capture lessons learned, best practices, and improvement opportunities for future projects;
  24. Support transition to operations, including handover and hypercare activities where applicable
  1. Administrative Tasks
  1. Support CMMI and organizational compliance activities
  2. Prepare and submit needed reports
  3. Ensure accurate time tracking (e.g., Planisware, People Core / myPD)
  4. Participate in regular coaching and performance discussions with leadership
  1. Customer Relationship and Communication
  1. Maintains high quality service ensuring customer satisfaction by:
  • Exercising high level of customer service orientation and professionalism in communicating and interacting with stakeholders;
  • Demonstrating understanding of project requirements, issues, and concerns, and escalating to appropriate channels when needed;
  1. Maintains, communicates, and interacts effectively (both verbal and written) with stakeholders including business users, technical teams, and project sponsors;

  3. Builds knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, systems, and business processes relevant to assigned projects;
  4. Keeps updated on project management practices, frameworks, and emerging trends.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

The candidate must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • Has at least 7 years' experience in IT industry, and at least 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 1 year of experience in Business Analysis
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Software Development Lifecycle SDLC - Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid), tools and templates to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Knowledge of PMO processes, frameworks, and governance standards
  • Proven experience in managing end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to closure
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., PM Software, MS Project, Jira, Visio, Confluence, and Excel)
  • Strong understanding of risk management, change management, and stakeholder management
  • Exposure in business operations related to; manufacturing, distribution and financial operations will be an advantage
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Certification is a plus (e.g., CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum certifications)
  • Understands business operations and objectives
  • Strong problem management and decision-making skills
  • Background in handling internal stakeholders and customer facing onshore/offshore delivery models
  • Strong Time Management and organizational skills
  • Strong sense of commitment to Organization's goals and values
  • Flexible working arrangement - shifting schedule and extended working hours
  • Willingness and readiness to travel to other sites as required
