About the role
I.E Medica Inc is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join our team in our Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila office. This is a full-time role where you will play a crucial part in supporting the Chief Finance Officer in overseeing the company's financial operations and reporting.
What you'll be doing- Assist the Chief Finance Officer in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Support the month-end close process, including account reconciliations and journal entries
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to the management team to aid in decision-making
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient financial processes and controls are in place
- Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports as required
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems and technologies
- Provide training and guidance to junior finance staff as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- At least 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the financial accounting and reporting domain
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards
- Proficient in the use of financial software and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Excel, QuickBooks)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Amenable to work on-site in Pioneer, Mandaluyong City
- CPA license is a plus
