Job Description
- Manage the financial function of the Employer to ensure the accuracy, integrity, legality, and timeliness of financial reports in accordance with Philippines laws and regulations
- Establish and maintain a system of internal control of Employer assets, revenues and expenses
- Direct the timely recording of financial data and preparation of financial and management reports
- Develop and administer systems and procedures to ensure the timely collection of receivables and the discharge of financial obligations and funding of the company
- Develop and maintain annual budgets for use in planning and controlling business operations
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting system and procedures
- Oversee and supervise accounting staff and take responsibility over the accuracy of their records and reports
- Assist external auditors with audit, preparation of taxes in compliance with the Bureau of Internal Regulations (“BIR”) and other statutory government compliance
- Assist the operation team in the monthly operations, review, identification of areas for cost reduction and operational improvements
- Perform and oversee the finance and accounting functions of the Employer
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time, and as may be reasonably necessary or incidental to the Employee’s position.
- Experience building financial statement using Quickbooks
- Knowledge of local regulations on taxation and BIR regulations
- Worked with a team as well as reporting to higher management on the financial health of the company
- WIlling to work extra hours
