Automation Test Engineer

1. Test Execution & Reporting • CMF Update: Update daily execution results and provide detailed analysis.

• Failure Analysis and Fixes: Investigate and resolve automation issues, including locator, keyword, and other script-related failures.
• Failure Verification: Create and update the Failure Verification Logic File to improve failure detection accuracy.
• Bug Ticket Creation: Create bug tickets for confirmed issues and ensure proper documentation.

1. Test Development & Maintenance

• Specification Understanding: Review and understand new features and functions to support automation coverage.
• Locator Creation: Develop and update UI locators.
• Keyword Creation: Develop and update automation keywords.
• Data Maintenance: Regularly update test data using the Automation Data Tool.

1. CI/CD & Platform Support

• CI Job Setup: Configure and maintain CI execution jobs.
• CI/Device Issue Reporting: Report CI or device-related issues to the platform team and follow up as needed.

1. Documentation & Process Support

• Manhour Monitoring: Track and document manhours accurately.
• Retrospective Materials: Prepare retrospective materials for team reviews.
• Documentation: Create and maintain project documentation, including Know How Pages and process guides.

1. Communication & Collaboration

• Cross Team Coordination: Report progress and collaborate with the Design Team and other automation engineers to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any similar technical field of study
• 3-4 yrs of experience in test automation development/implementation
• Accept fresh Graduate but with strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, CI/CD, Robot Framework, or similar
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
• Good communication skills in verbal and written English; knowledge in Nihongo is a plus but not required.
• Willing to work in Makati City.
• Willing to work in the office from M-F but with possible hybrid set up.
