Social Media Manager - responsible for managing a company’s presence on social media platforms to promote its brand, engage with audiences, and support marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop social media strategy
Plan goals, target audience, and content approach to grow the brand online.
  • Create and manage content
Produce and schedule posts (text, images, videos) for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X.
  • Manage social media accounts
Oversee daily activities, ensuring profiles are active, updated, and aligned with branding.
  • Engage with the audience
Respond to comments, messages, and reviews to build relationships with followers.
  • Monitor trends and competitors
Stay updated on viral trends, hashtags, and competitor strategies.
  • Run social media campaigns and ads
Plan and execute paid and organic campaigns to increase reach and conversions..
  • Collaborate with teams
Work with marketing teams for consistent messaging.
  • Maintain brand voice and image
Ensure all content reflects the company’s identity and values
  • With content writer experience is an advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills
Ability to write clear, engaging captions and interact with audiences
  • Creativity
Can develop unique and eye-catching content ideas.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms
Familiarity with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X.
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills
Experience using tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop.
  • Analytical skills
Ability to track and interpret data using tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Time management
Can plan, schedule, and post content consistently.
  • Adaptability
Keeps up with trends and changes in social media.
  • Previous experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation.
  • A portfolio showing successful social media pages or campaigns.
  • Experience running ads or promotions is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
