Social Media Assistant — Instagram Content & Design Part-Time | Contract | Remote
About the role
We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Assistant to join a wellness, beauty, and Pilates brand. This is a content-focused role — you'll be designing and editing Instagram content that feels clean, aesthetic, and completely on-brand.
If you have a strong eye for design, genuinely understand what looks good on Instagram, and take pride in getting the details right, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be doing- Editing Instagram posts including photos, carousels, and stories
- Creating aesthetic, on-brand graphics and promotional flyers
- Maintaining a consistent visual identity across all content
- Following brand guidelines including colours, fonts, and tone
- Staying across Instagram trends and adapting them to suit our brand
- Ensuring important text is clearly highlighted, well-placed, and easy to read
- Taking clear direction and executing briefs accurately and on time
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools
- A strong eye for clean, minimal, and aesthetic design
- An understanding of Instagram trends and how to apply them appropriately
- Excellent attention to detail — especially when it comes to text placement and readability
- Reliable, communicative, and responsive
- Someone who listens carefully and executes briefs with precision
