About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Business Development Manager to lead early-stage revenue growth and partnership development. This is a senior, high-impact role designed for someone who thrives in zero-to-one environments and wants to play a key role in shaping the company's go-to-market strategy, partnerships, and commercial direction.
As a founding member of the business development function, you will work directly with leadership to define and execute growth initiatives, secure strategic partnerships, and build the foundation of a scalable sales engine.
Key Responsibilities- Own and drive end-to-end business development strategy and execution
- Identify, engage, and close strategic partnerships across key markets
- Build and manage relationships with high-value clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Develop and refine go-to-market strategies in collaboration with leadership
- Lead outbound prospecting and pipeline generation efforts in early stages
- Represent the company in meetings, negotiations, and industry events
- Provide market insights and feedback to inform product and growth strategy
- Help establish scalable sales processes, tools, and playbooks
- Work closely with product, marketing, and leadership teams to align growth initiatives
- 3–7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (startup experience preferred)
- Proven track record of closing strategic deals and driving revenue growth
- Strong network in relevant industries (tech, fintech, SaaS, or adjacent fields preferred)
- Experience working in early-stage or fast-paced startup environments
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strong strategic thinking and ability to operate with minimal structure
- Comfortable with ambiguity and building from zero
- Self-starter with high ownership and execution mindset
- Experience in Web3, fintech, SaaS, or emerging tech sectors
- Prior experience as an early employee or founding team member
- Experience building or scaling outbound sales functions
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo)
- Base Salary (Negotiable) + Equity
