Role description:
Role accountabilities:
- Global Organic Social Strategy & Channel Growth
- Partner with the Global Employer Brand Director to shape and evolve the global organic social media strategy aligned to EVP and priority hiring markets
- Lead the development and execution of global channel strategies (LinkedIn and other priority platforms)
- Provide expert input on audience targeting, channel mix and growth opportunities
- Own day-to-day delivery of the strategy, including planning, publishing and optimisation
- Drive growth in reach, engagement and follower quality across priority talent audiences
- Social Publishing, Distribution & Performance
- Lead the distribution and amplification of employer brand content across global channels
- Manage publishing cadence and ensure consistent, high-quality execution
- Monitor and optimise content performance, identifying opportunities to improve visibility and engagement
- Partner closely with the Content & Editorial Lead to ensure content is effectively adapted for each platform and audience to maximise content impact and reach
- Audience Engagement & Social Listening
- Own day-to-day engagement with talent audiences, including comments, messages and interactions
- Build an authentic and responsive employer brand presence across channels
- Lead social listening to understand sentiment, trends and candidate perceptions
- Translate engagement data and audience insight into clear, actionable recommendations
- Proactively identify opportunities to engage and grow priority talent audiences
- Employer Brand Ambassador Programme
- Partner with the Global Employer Brand Director to design and evolve a global employer brand ambassador strategy
- Lead the onboarding and day-to-day management of employer brand ambassadors
- Enable employees to create and share authentic, EVP-aligned content through guidance and toolkits which will also be used to support campaigns as well as personal channel share
- Support ambassadors with content ideas, prompts and best practices
- Track and optimise advocacy performance to extend reach beyond corporate channels
- Talent Communities & Alumni Engagement
- Contribute to the development of a global talent community and alumni strategy
- Lead the build and ongoing management of global talent communities in the CRM
- Develop and deliver engagement plans to nurture relationships over time
- Partner with recruiters to activate communities for priority hiring needs
- Drive referrals and rehire opportunities through effective community engagement
- Campaign Amplification & Channel Integration
- Lead the organic amplification of global employer brand campaigns
- Provide input into campaign planning to ensure strong channel and audience alignment
- Work with Content & Editorial Lead to adapt and optimise campaign content for each platform and audience
- Support senior leaders and hiring managers to amplify campaigns through their networks
- Monitor performance and refine approach in real time
- Insight, Optimisation & Continuous Improvement
- Analyse social, community and engagement data to understand what drives audience interest and action
- Provide regular insight and recommendations to inform content, campaigns and audience strategy
- Feed insight into the wider employer brand strategy, working closely with the Global Employer Brand Director and Content & Editorial Lead
- Test and experiment with new formats, channels and approaches
- Establish and embed best practices globally
- Governance, Ways of Working & Collaboration
- Ensure all activity aligns with employer brand, EVP and corporate brand guidelines
- Build and maintain a clear, effective and scalable way of working with the Marcomms team, particularly the Organic Social team, ensuring alignment on process, roles and responsibilities
- Navigate and optimise existing workflows (e.g. content review, publishing, approvals) to ensure smooth and efficient execution
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with all key stakeholders
- Provide guidance and support to global stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective execution
- Balance appropriate governance with agility in social and community activity
- Act as a global subject matter expert for social and community within employer brand
- Increased global reach and visibility among priority talent audiences
- Stronger engagement and interaction with candidates and communities
- Scaled advocacy through employees and leaders
- Development of sustainable talent pipelines through social and community channels
Qualifications & Experience:
Education & Professional Background- Essential - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, HR, or related field
- Preferred - Professional certifications in social media, digital marketing, or community management
- Essential - Minimum 5 years’ experience in social media management, employer branding, talent marketing, or digital communications
- Essential - Proven track record managing global/multi-market social channels and communities
- Essential - Experience building and scaling ambassador or advocacy programmes
- Experience collaborating with content, marcomms, and TA teams
- Essential - Expertise in LinkedIn and other priority platforms (Instagram, X, Glassdoor, YouTube)
- Essential - Strong analytics skills; proficiency in tools like LinkedIn Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar
- Essential - Familiarity with CRM and talent community platforms
- Strategic thinking and ability to shape global channel strategies
- Essential - Audience engagement and community-building skills
- Essential - Collaboration and stakeholder management
