The Front Desk Officer is responsible for managing the reception area, welcoming guests, and providing excellent customer service. This role ensures smooth check-in and check-out processes while handling guest inquiries, reservations, and administrative tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner
Manage check-in and check-out procedures
Handle reservations, bookings, and cancellations
Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly
Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
Address guest concerns, complaints, and requests efficiently
Maintain accurate guest records and billing information
Process payments and issue receipts
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments for room readiness
Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable
Follow security and confidentiality procedures
Qualifications/Requirements- Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field
- With at least 1 year of experience in Front Office Operations
- Hospitality-oriented professional with strong customer service skills
- Effective communicator with excellent verbal and written abilities
- Organized and detail-oriented multitasker with administrative knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM systems, OTAs, and hotel PMS is preferred
- Calm, patient, and skilled in handling customer concerns professionally
- Presentable, reliable, and friendly with a pleasing personality
- Able to coordinate effectively with Reservations, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other hotel departments
- Committed to maintaining professionalism, teamwork, and adherence to company policies and service standards
