Job Summary: The Network/System Administrator will serve as an Advocate for Service Quality and Reliability in a Medium Sized Cluster of About 1500 Linux Server(s). You will be Expected to Image, Configure, Monitor, and Troubleshoot the Server(s) and Service(s) to Ensure a Smooth Performance and Act as a First Line of Defense when Issue(s) Arise within a 24/7 Support Coverage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as the First Line of Defense for all Service Quality Issue(s), Analyze Performance Bottleneck(s) and Service Weakness(es) for Improvement(s) as a First Response, Responsible in Sending Alert(s), Metric(s) Analysis, Handling Escalation(s), and Debugging of Service Issue(s)
• Troubleshoot and Analyze Production Problem(s) Using Production Tool(s) to Understand and Resolve Issue(s), Escalate Issue(s) to Next-Level as Needed, Contribute in the Expansion of the Knowledge-Base, and Write Clear and Concise Documentation(s) on Symptom(s) of Problem(s) Encountered and How to Resolve Issue(s)

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:

• 1 Year Experience of Linux System Administration is Required (Recent Experience) Including User Management, Configuration Management, Package Management, Software Deployment, as well as Troubleshooting and Monitoring, Recent Experience as an On-Call or Escalation Engineer Tasked with the Responsibility of Troubleshooting and Solving Issue(s) on Live Production Linux System(s)
• Proficiency with Deploying and Managing Service(s) and Monitoring Open Source (Example(s) Include MEMCACHE, APACHE, NGINX, HAPROXY, MYSQL, REDIS, ECLECTICSEARCH, PROMETHEUS, GRAFANA, PROXMOX, SCYLLA), Proficiency with One or More of the Following Open Source Language(s) - BASH, GO, PERL, PYTHON
• Solid Troubleshooting and Administration Knowledge of GNU and Linux System(s), Fluent in Common Lamp Stack and Related Technologies, Familiarity and Experience with 24x7 Alerting System(s) and Monitoring Suite(s) such as NAGIOS, GANGLIA, SENSU, and ZABBIX
• Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Strong Problem Solving and Decision Making Skills, Ability to Troubleshoot and Work Under Stress
