Purchasing supervisor

Job Description

• Supervise and lead the purchasing team in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of purchase orders, pricing, and specifications
• Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and establish strong supplier relationships
• Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with other departments including finance, operations, and logistics to ensure seamless procurement processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Experience in shipping, logistics, manufacturing, or a related industry preferred
• Strong negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills
• Solid understanding of procurement and supply chain principles
• Reliable, honest, and capable of handling confidential or sensitive information with discretion
• Results-driven with a proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement

Work location

CEBU CITY (CAPITAL), CEBU

• Office-based with occasional visits to suppliers, warehouses, or other operational sites
• May require occasional overtime depending on project or delivery deadlines
