Financial Controller
The key responsibilities of the Financial Controller:
- Perform month-end close finance operations, including reviewing financial transactions, payments, and account reconciliations.
- Identify and implement improvements and automation in month-end close processes.
- Detect control gaps and establish key controls as needed.
- Ensure thorough documentation of all processes and controls.
- Collaborate with the Technology team to log and resolve accounting system issues promptly.
- Provide accounting guidance and update relevant accounting papers and policies as needed.
- Participate in ad-hoc tasks and projects supporting department or company initiatives.

A successful Financial Controller must posses the following:
- CPA
- Holds a Bachelor's or College Degree in Financial Management, Economics, Accounting, or a related business field
- Familiar with Credit and Loan Products
- Background in companies performing investment banking functions
- Understands general accounting principles, including financial statements
- Possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Great attention to detail
- Highly organized, able to multitask effectively, work independently, and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
