Financial Controller | Expert in Australian Accounting - Makati

Clear is looking for a Financial Controller, a CPA with proven experience in Australian financial management, to work remotely (Work-from-Home) with our Australia-based client in the healthcare (dental practice) industry.

Role and Opportunity

The Financial Controller will play a pivotal role in establishing efficient finance processes, managing day to day financial operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensure compliance and reporting standards are met. This position reports directly to the COO based in Australia and requires excellent communication skills.

As a Financial Controller, you will:

• Establish efficient finance processes to centralise from acquired dental practices to optimise financial operations and reporting accuracy.
• Set up Netsuite system and reporting templates
• Oversee and manage the company’s finance operations, including processing of accounts payable, dentists commission-based draw, and monthly management reporting for each dental practice.
• Oversee and manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports, delivering key insights to the COO and Directors.
• Provide financial analysis and guidance on company performance and business decisions.
• Manage audits, tax filings, and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor internal controls and implement improvements as necessary.
• Perform the other finance-related tasks as required by the COO, Directors, or th management.
• A Certified Public Accountant with a strong experience in Australian financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Financial Controller or its equivalent in Australian account setting.
• Proficient in Netsuite or similar financial software.
• Advanced MS Excell skills with working knowledge in MS Outlook, Teams, and other MS Office apps.
• A fit-to-work status based on the pre-employment medical exam and drug test.
• A valid NBI Clearance.

• Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills (both verbal and written)
• With the ability to effectively interact with dental practice admin staff, if required
