The Construction Laborer performs basic physical labor tasks on construction sites to support skilled workers and ensure project completion. The role involves assisting in site preparation, material handling, and general construction activities while following safety procedures at all times.
Key Responsibilities: Assist skilled workers such as carpenters, masons, and equipment operators.
Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools.Prepare and clean construction sites before and after work activities.
Dig trenches, excavations, and assist in foundation work.
Mix and prepare construction materials such as concrete and mortar.
Operate basic hand tools and light equipment as directed.
Follow instructions from supervisors and site engineers.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
Follow safety guidelines and wear required protective equipment (PPE).
Support in assembling and dismantling temporary structures and scaffolding.
Report unsafe conditions or equipment issues immediately.
