Project Manager (IT Projects)

What you will do:

• Overall responsible for successful and timely completion of any and all projects. This includes, among others, scope management, timeline management, quality management, people management, change management and budget management.
• Lead the project team, including but not limited to, resource management (which may range from motivation, task monitoring, time management/monitoring, organizing the team/roles/assignments, OT management, etc.).
• Overall responsible for client satisfaction, including but not limited to, stakeholder management.
• Resolve any and all project issues, including but not limited to, mitigating risks, removing obstacles (project), facilitating meetings to come up with decision points, ensuring right resource to handle the issue, preparing project facts, negotiations, dispute resolution, escalation (ensuring issue resolution), etc.
• Prepares the Project Charter, Communications Plan, Project Plan, Work Breakdown Schedule (WBS), change management plan/strategy, IT Security Policy, and other project related document/plans. Execute or be responsible for the execution of such.
• Be responsible for, (a) Report generation (external, internal) and managing project artifacts, (b) Updating project management methodology, (c) Coordination, (d) Tracking of project metrics including budget, deliverables, etc., (e)other responsibilities of a project manager in accordance with industry standards/practice.
• Report to the Project Management Office and other internal departments.
• Take an active role in projects, including but not limited to assignment to client site.
• This also includes, among others, reporting to the Client project manager counterpart, Client personnel (as applicable).
• May perform the duties and responsibilities of a business analyst including but not limited to, (a) gathering business requirements, (b) preparing a solution addressing business needs, (c) creation of documentation such as requirements document, process documents, training plans, etc. (d) and others.
• Provide inputs to Solvento Philippines, Inc. team with regards to project governance strategy, organizational inputs, client expectations and general ways of working.
• Actively collaborate with external team to ensure solution is delivered on-time, on-budget and within specifications. As such, work with Solvento Philippines, Inc.’s partners, clients, etc. and other relevant personnel in project implementation and other related tasks.
• Coordinate with principals’ technical support, as applicable.
• Provide consulting services to customers.
• Ensure good relations with people and stakeholders involved in the project.
• Actively participate in initiatives or collaborate in developing and enhancing the project management and business analysis practice.
• Keep skills up-to-date. Constantly share knowledge with peers to build overall company competency.
• Participate in internal projects and/or any activities.
• Work in a professional manner and conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
• Other tasks and assignments that may be given or assigned to you.

What must you have:

• Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT or a related field.
• At least 5+years of experience preferably in a professional services firm or consulting firm.
• Required skill(s): project management, project status updates / reporting
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent organizational and technical skills.
• Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
• Proactive and ability to identify issues, think ahead, propose solutions, plan long-term decisions, and anticipate outcomes.
• Good presentation skills in Words/PowerPoint/Excel/Project Plan or other similar project management tools.
