PROJECT MANAGER (PM1)
The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of various I.T. solutions for our enterprise customers. The scope of work includes: Planning and Scope Definition, Activity Planning and Sequencing, Resource Planning, Scheduling, Time/Cost Estimation, Budget Planning and Monitoring, Documentation, Risk Analysis and Risk Management, Project Monitoring and Progress Reporting, Change Management, Conflict Resolution, Project Closure, and Overall Management and Leadership.They will be responsible for organizing and mobilizing solution architects, integration specialists, and hardware and software engineers as well as interfacing with vendors and customer contacts throughout the life of the project.
It is the Project Manager’s responsibility to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget and that overall project objectives are met.
Qualifications and Skills:
- College graduate of any related course
- 3 years of work experience in IT software applications, 1 to 2 years of which in project management work
- Possession of project management certifications would be a strong advantage
- IT business analyst skills would be a significant advantage
- Must have successfully managed a project from initiation to closing and must possess good understanding of project management concepts and principles.
- With working knowledge of Microsoft Project or an alternative project management tool
- Experience in managing projects in financial services, manufacturing, utilities, telco, and/or BPO industries a plus
- Experience in managing diverse project teams and with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Must possess math and budgeting skills. A good working knowledge of project finance concepts is required.
- Highly personable, positive, and proactive
- Adept at customer relationship management
- With management and leadership skills, able to keep team members motivated, resolve conflicts, and make decisions beneficial to the project, with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to demonstrate time and resource management skills
- With excellent oral and written communication skills for face-to-face, online meetings and report-writing
- Ability to connect with people and skilled at persuasion; work well with project team members, executives, vendors, and customers at all levels.
- Analytical and with problem-solving skills; utilizes data analysis
