About the role
As a Technical Support - Electrical Engineer at IAN SMART ENERGY CORP', you will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to the company's electrical engineering projects. This full-time role is based in Quezon City, Metro Manila and will play a crucial part in ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of the company's electrical systems and infrastructure.
What you'll be doing- Offering technical assistance and troubleshooting support to the engineering team on electrical systems and components
- Conducting routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Analysing technical data, diagnosing issues, and recommending solutions to improve the efficiency and reliability of electrical systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate the implementation of electrical engineering projects
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in electrical engineering technologies and best practices
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical support or electrical engineering role, preferably within the energy industry
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- Knowledge of relevant safety and regulatory standards in the electrical engineering field
