Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students on academic, personal, and social issues
- Assist students in developing study habits, coping skills, and decision-making abilities
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs, strengths, and challenges
- Guide students in career planning, subject selection, and educational pathways
- Maintain confidential student records and counseling documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to support student welfare
- Identify and refer students who need specialized psychological or external support services
- Conduct seminars, workshops, and programs on mental health, bullying prevention, and life skills
- Monitor student behavior, attendance, and academic progress
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment
- Participate in school meetings, training, and professional development
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Education, or related field
- Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling
- Licensed Guidance Counselor/ Registered Psychometrician
- Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience, and emotional intelligence
- Knowledge of counseling techniques and child/adolescent development
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
