Mechanical Technician

Installation & Maintenance:

• Install, assemble, and test mechanical systems and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing to prevent breakdowns.
• Inspect and diagnose mechanical issues to ensure proper functionality.

Troubleshooting & Repairs:

• Identify faults in machinery and mechanical components.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
• Calibrate and test repaired equipment to confirm proper operation.

Technical Support & Documentation:

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Assist engineers in designing and modifying mechanical systems.

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow safety protocols and guidelines when handling equipment.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
• Conduct risk assessments to prevent workplace hazards.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma, associate degree, or certification in Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues efficiently.
• Tools & Equipment: Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in maintenance, repairs, and documentation.
