  • Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service is the primary responsibility of Front of House staff. This includes greeting customers, taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring that customers have a positive experience.
  • Taking Orders: FOH staff take food and drink orders from customers. They must accurately record orders and convey special requests to the BOH staff.
  • Handling Payments: Processing payments from customers, whether through cash, credit cards, or other forms of payment. This may also involve operating a cash register or point-of-sale system.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the store clean and organized is important for creating a pleasant environment for customers. FOH staff may be responsible for tasks such as clearing tables, wiping down surfaces, and restocking supplies.
  • Assisting Other Staff: FOH staff works closely with other team members, including BOH staff, to ensure smooth operations. This may involve helping to run food to tables, communicating special requests to the kitchen, or assisting with special events or promotions.
  • Upselling and Promotions: FOH staff may be responsible for promoting special menu items, pastries, or promotions to customers in order to increase sales and enhance the customer experience.
  • Handling Customer Concerns: Resolving customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner is an important aspect of Front of House roles. FOH staff should be prepared to address issues such as incorrect orders, long wait times, or dissatisfaction with the service.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • In – depth knowledge of FELT and its products and services
  • Bachelor’s /Vocational Degree in Food Technology, Hospitality and Restaurant Management or any related field.
  • Prior experience in a customer service or food service role preferred.
  • Detail – oriented and results-oriented
  • Can work well with a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
