About the role
Triton Constructions Development Corporation is seeking a talented and experienced Safety Engineer - Licensed Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Ortigas, Pasig City. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our construction projects, drawing on your expertise in civil/structural engineering.
What you'll be doing- Develop, implement and monitor comprehensive safety plans and procedures for construction sites
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Provide training and guidance to construction workers on safety best practices
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards
- Investigate and document incidents, accidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with project managers, architects and other stakeholders to integrate safety considerations into the design and planning of construction projects
- Stay up-to-date with the latest safety regulations, technologies and industry trends
- Licensed civil engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience in construction safety management
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety regulations, best practices and risk management
- Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and guide construction workers
- Proficient in using safety-related software and technologies
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach to project management
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
