Sales & Purchasing Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Shop for and purchase grocery and household items based on client orders.
• Ensure correct product types, sizes, and units are selected as per the client’s request.
• Communicate with team to confirm or clarify item specifications, substitutions, or availability.
• Pick up items from designated stores or suppliers and ensure timely delivery or handover.
• Maintain records of items purchased, costs, and order fulfillment.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels; restock or order products as needed.
• Coordinate with the sales team regarding product availability and customer orders.
• Assist in basic administrative tasks related to sales and purchasing (e.g., invoicing, order tracking).
• Provide high-level customer service with professionalism and accuracy.
• We are seeking a trustworthy, reliable, and detail-oriented Sales & Purchasing Assistant to manage client orders by purchasing grocery items and handling pickups from nearby stores. The role requires strong familiarity with grocery products, including various units of measurement (e.g., grams, liters, packs), to ensure accuracy in fulfilling orders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing products based on client requests, checking for quality, coordinating with stores, and communicating effectively with both customers and the internal team. Additional responsibilities include assisting with sales support, basic inventory management, and maintaining records of purchases. A high level of trust is essential, especially when handling orders and payments. Success in this role requires excellent time management, strong product knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
