Job Description
Posted on 29 April 2025- Greet customers when entering or leaving establishment.
- Keep front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper etc.)
- Greet and welcome guests.
- Answer questions and address complaints.
- Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages.
- Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Make sales referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new
- Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them
- Take up other duties as assigned (travel arrangements, schedules, etc.)
- Manage bookings properly.
- Handle cash, credit or check transactions with customers
- Collect payments
- Ensure pricing is correct
- Issue change, receipts, refunds, or cash vouchers
- Redeem Vouchers
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate changes ones.
- Bag, box or wrap packages carefully
- Keep inventory report updated.
- Monitor office expenses and costs
- Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
- Keep updated records and files
- Keep daily sales, expenses and services reports of transactions.
- Up-sell treatments and beauty products, when appropriate.
Qualifications/Requirements
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Customer Service:Excellent interpersonal skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with guests, staff, and vendors.Organizational Skills: Ability to manage appointments, handle inquiries efficiently, and maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Technical Proficiency: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with spa software for scheduling, billing, and record-keeping.
Multitasking:
The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including answering phones, greeting guests, and managing appointments.
Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail in handling appointments, processing transactions, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.Experience: Previous experience in customer service, particularly in a spa or hospitality setting, is advantageous.
Flexibility: Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, may be required.
At least High School Graduate or College Level
