Job Description:
- Handle incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, answer patient inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate staff or department.
- Answer general questions about the facility, services, and treatments offered. Provide information on procedures, office hours, and directions to the facility.
- Manage the scheduling of patient appointments for consultations, treatments, and follow-ups. Ensure appointments are aligned with physician availability and patient needs.
- Address any immediate concerns or issues raised by patients or visitors, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Assist patients upon arrival and departure, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed, and payments are processed
- Offer a supportive, empathetic presence, especially for patients undergoing cancer treatment, recognizing the emotional impact of their visits.
- Perform other administrative tasks and job-related duties assigned by the Supervisor
Qualifications/Requirements
Education: BSBA Marketing, BSBA Office Management/Administration or any business related courseKnowledge/Skills:
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, especially when discussing complex healthcare or treatment-related information.
Ability to identify issues, think critically, and provide solutions, especially when addressing patient inquiries, scheduling conflicts, or operational challenges.
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and healthcare professionals.
