Job Summary

The Team Lead – Recruitment and Onboarding is responsible for leading end-to-end provider recruitment coordination and onboarding operations and ensuring a seamless, compliant, high-quality experience from initial engagement through readiness for practice.

Operating within a Global Business Services environment, this role drives team performance, cross-functional collaboration and service delivery outcomes supporting U.S. healthcare operations.

What you’ll do

Team Leadership and Management
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of recruitment and onboarding specialists
  • Set performance expectations, monitor productivity and conduct performance reviews
  • Build a high-performing, service-oriented team culture aligned with organizational values
  • Manage staffing, scheduling and workload distribution across global operations
Provider Recruitment Support
  • Oversee interview scheduling, candidate tracking and stakeholder communication
  • Collaborate with recruiters and physician leaders to maintain pipeline momentum
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of candidate records and system updates
  • Monitor recruitment cycle times and identify process bottlenecks
Onboarding and Credentialing Coordination
  • Lead onboarding processes including pre-employment requirements, documentation and system access
  • Ensure compliance with credentialing, privileging and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate with HR, medical staff services, information technology and compliance teams to ensure providers are practice-ready
  • Track onboarding milestones and resolve delays proactively
Operational Excellence
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators such as time-to-fill, time-to-onboard, service level adherence and quality metrics
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities and standardization
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and regulatory policies
  • Support rollout of new tools, workflows and operational enhancements
Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as a key point of contact for recruiters, credentialing verification organizations, medical staff services and operations leaders
  • Provide regular reporting and insights on recruitment and onboarding performance
  • Escalate risks and issues with clear recommendations for resolution
Quality and Compliance
  • Ensure all activities comply with healthcare regulations, organizational standards and data privacy requirements
  • Conduct audits of recruitment and onboarding documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Drive continuous improvement in provider experience and service delivery quality

What you’ll need

Experience
  • 5+ years in recruitment, onboarding or talent acquisition operations required
  • 5+ years of team leadership experience required
  • Knowledge in healthcare recruitment, credentialing or provider lifecycle processes required
  • Knowledge in process improvement and performance management preferred
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or related field required
