Production & operations manager (manufacturing)

Job Description

• Prepares and plans Monthly Processing Schedule based on standard processing conditions to meet requested demands and delivery schedule for all models
• Prepares weekly production report regarding output and achievement.
• Prepares reports regarding machine, production problem and quality issues that needs immediate attention.
• Ensures the deployment of manpower in such that productivity and quality target are met at all times.
• Monitors implementation of proper housekeeping and safety standards.
• Conducts performance evaluation of supervised personnel and recommends necessary trainings needed.
• Reviews manpower requirements for each position. Recommends hiring, firing, transfer and promotion of employees within the department./
• Imposes company rules and regulations and recommends appropriate disciplinary action.
• Performs other related tasks that maybe assigned to support departmental and company goals and objectives.

• Proficiency in Japanese Language level 1 (JLPT N1).
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College degree, in Engineering.
• With at least 2 years of experience in operations management in a manufacturing industry.
• With ISO documentation experience.
• Performs other related tasks that maybe assigned to support departmental and company goals and objectives.
• With at least 2 years of Solid experience specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or Equivalent.
