About the role

In this critical role, you will be responsible for the efficient management and organisation of the company's warehouse operations, ensuring the timely and accurate handling of all incoming and outgoing goods.This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading manufacturing, transport and logistics company.
What you'll be doing- Receiving, inspecting, and accurately recording the storage of incoming goods and materials
- Picking, packing, and dispatching orders to meet customer requirements
- Maintaining the cleanliness, organisation, and security of the warehouse facility
- Carrying out regular stock counts and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy
- Assisting in the loading and unloading of trucks and containers
- Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Complying with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- At least 2 years of experience in a warehousing, logistics or distribution role
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Good numerical and record-keeping skills, with the ability to interpret and report on data
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control processes
- A proactive and problem-solving approach to work, with the ability to multitask
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with a customer-focused attitude
