Assistant Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary

Assists the Maintenance Supervisor in utilizing personnel and resources in the most economical to for the maintenance and general upkeep of the company premises, physical plant, and machineries.

1. Accepts, processes and delegates maintenance requests from various departments within the company.
2. Conducts cost-benefit analysis on various repair and maintenance option.
3. Helps to ensure that enough personnel are available to meet requirements.
4. Helps to ensure that enough training and orientation of production personnel is being conducted.
5. Monitors and conducts preventive maintenance of machineries in coordination with the Production Supervisor.
6. Coordinates with third-party repair services for specialized repairs.
7. Involved in pollution control and environmental concerns.
8. Involved in disaster preparedness, fire prevention, and safety programs for the entire company.
9. Helps to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
10. Does other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

1. At least one year of working experience as a supervisor or assistant supervisor in the related field
2. Preferably 2-4 years experience in mechanical and/or electrical repair and building maintenance
3. Must posses excellent analytical skills
4. Must posses qualities of a leader
5. Good communication skills
6. Able to work with minimal supervision
7. Willing to work Mondays to Saturdays, 7am to 4pm and render overtime as needed
