CREDIT AND COLLECTION DATA ANALYST

Purpose of the position:

The Credit and Collections Data Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting collection performance across branches, distribution centers, and key accounts. The role supports the Credit and Collections team by providing timely insights, identifying collection risks, and recommending actions to improve cash flow and minimize bad debt exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly collection reports and dashboards visible across the organization.
• Monitor and analyze collection status by branch, account, and distribution center.
• Provide daily updates to the Credit and Collections Manager on overdue accounts, collection performance, and risk exposure.
• Identify high-risk accounts and recommend appropriate collection strategies and next steps.
• Analyze and correlate collection data at both branch and head office levels to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop actionable recommendations to enhance collection efficiency and reduce past-due receivables.
• Coordinate closely with IT, Regional Invoice Custodians, Branch Operations, and Head Office Credit & Collections teams to ensure data accuracy and process alignment.
• Support management in ad hoc analyses, forecasting, and collection performance reviews.
• Maintain data integrity and continuously improve reporting tools and dashboards.

Qualifications, knowledge, skills required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in Credit and Collections, Accounts Receivable, Financial Analysis, or Data Analytics.
• Experience in collection reporting, aging analysis, account monitoring, and risk assessment.
• Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or other data visualization tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience working with branch operations, distribution centers, and cross-functional teams is an advantage.
