Laboratory Chemist

1. Oversees and performs the required chemical and physical analyses according to

1. Ensures that the analyses are released on time
2. Prepares, reviews, and ensures correctness of data generated.
3. Prepares standards and reagents required for the analysis in accordance with

prescribed test methods and maintains the assigned equipment for proper conduct of

1. Ensures systematic workflow by regular and proper timing of laboratory tests in order

1. Prepare samples for subcontracting to other laboratories for analyses that cannot be

1. Safeguard the confidentiality of test results and procedures of customers.
2. Strictly implements the established laboratory quality system based on PNS ISO/IEC

1. Ensures availability of chemicals and supplies by proper monitoring and immediate

1. Observes guidelines on good housekeeping in the laboratory and its environment,

1. Participates in Proficiency Testing and other Quality Assurance programs of the

1. Provides assistance in the conduct of non-routinary analysis of new capabilities of the

1. Trains new hires and laboratory staff on physical/chemical analyses

1. Reports directly to the Laboratory Supervisor/Laboratory Business Manager.
2. Represents F.A.S.T. Laboratories in professional circles, technical forums, etc., as

1. Performs other tasks as necessary to support the objectives of the laboratory and the

cooperative except for marketing-related activities.
