QA SPECIALIST
Job Description:Facilitate timely and proper conduct of independent appraisal of the effectiveness of food safety policies, procedures and standards of the company’s resources and operations
- Ensures proper product handling procedures are implemented from receiving of raw materials to dispatching of finished goods. Ensure that cold chain is maintained throughout the process.
- Facilitate visual validation or sensory assessment to evaluate quality of purchased supplies and/or finished product re: adherence to approved specifications and quality standards and provide feedback as appropriate
- Ensure validation of all monitoring of control points of processes in their assigned area
- Conducts validation of cleaning and sanitation of the area. Check if facility and internal structures are compliant to food safety standards. Evaluate new equipment, materials, and techniques relevant to the operations of the assigned business unit(s); assist in evaluating new products and provide recommendations accordingly.
- Recommend measures for improving work procedures and employee performance and practices to increase service quality and enhance food safety.
- Facilitate timely preparation of complete and accurate analysis, and recommendations on audit findings.
- Recommend removal of inventory items that are obsolete or damaged or expired to ensure that no stock is kept in circulation that is out of date or below par the company’s quality standard.
- Facilitate on proper documentation and validation of internal and external complaint
- Conducts GMP and food safety seminars to all Central Depot personnel
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of BS in Food technology or other related field
- 1 year experience in the meat industry
- Preferably with GMP, HACCP, SSOP trainings
