Job Summary:

The Training and Development Associate plays a key role in designing, implementing, and managing learning programs that enhance employee performance, engagement, and career development across the organization. A strong focus of this role will be to leverage LinkedIn Learning and other digital platforms to build scalable, skills-based learning paths aligned with business goals.

This role is ideal for someone who is tech-savvy, passionate about continuous learning, and eager to drive a learning culture in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curate and manage content on LinkedIn Learning to align with employee development goals and organizational competencies
  • Partner with department heads to conduct training needs assessments and identify skill gaps
  • Design, coordinate, and track learning programs including onboarding, compliance, soft skills, technical training, and leadership development
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops (virtual or in-person) as needed
  • Maintain and update the Learning Management System (LMS) and ensure accurate reporting and tracking of participation and completion
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using metrics, feedback, and impact assessments
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning through communications, campaigns, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Support career development and succession planning initiatives with learning tools and resources
  • Collaborate with vendors or external trainers when necessary
  • Stay up-to-date with learning trends, tools, and best practices to propose innovative solutions

Key Skills and Competencies:

Technical and Platform Skills:

  • Proficiency in LinkedIn Learning administration and content curation
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, or Moodle
  • Strong Microsoft Office and presentation skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Basic knowledge of eLearning design tools (e.g., Articulate, Canva, Adobe Captivate) is a plus

Instructional & Learning Design:

  • Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Experience in developing structured learning paths or career tracks
  • Ability to design training that supports hybrid or remote teams

Analytical & Evaluation Skills:

  • Ability to collect and analyze training feedback and data to measure impact and ROI
  • Experience using surveys, assessments, or dashboards to track learning metrics

Business and Strategic Thinking:

  • Understanding of how learning ties into business outcomes such as productivity, engagement, and talent retention
  • Ability to align training initiatives with organizational goals and workforce planning
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on developing future-ready skills

Interpersonal and Communication Skills:

  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in training, learning and development, or HR
  • Experience managing or using LinkedIn Learning in a corporate setting is highly preferred
  • Certification in learning and development (e.g., ATD, CIPD, or similar) is a plus
