Assistant Manager, IT Infrastructure | Pasay City

You will assist in overseeing technical teams, managing IT projects, ensuring service level compliance, and supporting business continuity efforts.

This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader with solid experience in infrastructure, systems, and vendor coordination—someone ready to take the next step in IT leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure 24/7 availability of critical IT infrastructure (servers, telco lines, networking equipment, UPS, air conditioning systems, etc.) in both cloud and on-premise environments.
• Provide second-line support and oversight to the Data Center and IT Support teams across stores and branches.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining enterprise solutions (e.g., file servers, web apps, monitoring systems, collaboration tools).
• Support deployment of infrastructure updates, patches, and system upgrades while ensuring minimal business disruption.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with SLAs.

• Assist in managing infrastructure projects including setup, expansion, or migration activities.
• Participate in capacity planning and ensure resource availability for future IT needs.
• Contribute to risk management efforts including system backups, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity execution.
• Help evaluate new technologies, systems, and tools for operational improvement.

• Monitor internal and vendor performance against agreed service levels.
• Prepare and analyze infrastructure status reports and performance dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and industry best practices.

• Support the training, coaching, and development of data center and support personnel.
• Promote a collaborative and efficient team culture aligned with organizational goals.
• Assist in organizing team schedules, task assignments, and performance feedback processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, or data center operations.
• Hands-on experience in systems configuration, virtualization, server maintenance, and network troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and basic scripting (e.g., BASH, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with disaster recovery strategies, backup solutions, and risk mitigation practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, multi-site environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
