Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements
Handle accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
Support BAS/GST preparation and compliance reporting
Process payroll and superannuation contributions
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
Maintain accurate records in cloud accounting systems
Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and client stakeholders
Support process improvements and automation initiatives

Required Accounting & Finance Skills

Financial reporting and management accounting
Payroll processing
GST/BAS compliance knowledge
Budgeting and forecasting
Cash flow management
Multi-entity bookkeeping
Accounts reconciliation
Excel financial modeling

Preferred Software Experience

Xero (highly preferred)
MYOB
QuickBooks Online
NetSuite
SAP Business One / Oracle NetSuite
Dext / Hubdoc
Employment Hero Payroll
Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query)
Power BI (highly valuable)
Google Workspace & Microsoft 365

What We're Looking For

✔ 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
✔ Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
✔ Experience supporting AU/NZ businesses or international clients
✔ Ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines
✔ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

✔ Tech-savvy and comfortable with cloud accounting platforms
