Job Description

The Billing In-Charge (Accounts Receivable) is responsible for the accurate preparation, issuance, and monitoring of all tenant and client billings within Elizabeth Mall. This role ensures timely collection, accurate posting of payments, and proper coordination with Accounting and Leasing departments to maintain efficient financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue monthly billing statements and invoices to tenants and clients.
• Record and monitor accounts receivable transactions and collections.
• Maintain an updated Aging of Accounts Receivable and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Verify billing details with lease agreements and ensure accuracy before release.
• Coordinate with Leasing and Operations for billing adjustments, new accounts, or closures.
• Process Official Receipts and post payments in the accounting system.
• Handle tenant inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in month-end closing, reconciliation, and reporting activities.
• Maintain organized billing files (digital and hard copies) for audit and reference.
• Generate collection and delinquency reports for management review.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of BS Accountancy or Management Accounting.
• Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in billing or accounts receivable (experience in mall operations is an advantage).
• Knowledgeable in basic accounting principles and billing procedures.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems/software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Good communication, coordination, and time-management skills.
• Trustworthy, reliable, and able to handle confidential information.
• Can work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision.
• Willing to work on-site at Elizabeth Mall, Cebu City.
• Has the ability to multitask.
