The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting goods from the company’s warehouse or store to customers or designated locations in a timely, safe, and efficient manner. The role ensures proper handling of products, follows delivery schedules, and provides excellent customer service during each transaction.

Qualifications/Requirements

Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or business locations according to assigned routes and schedules.

Ensure products are delivered in good condition and obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery.

Inspect and maintain delivery vehicle, ensuring it is in safe operating condition.

Follow all traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies.

Handle products with care to avoid damage during loading, transport, and unloading.

Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, or clients regarding delivery status or issues.

Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.

Assist with warehouse duties such as packing, sorting, or loading goods when necessary.

Remarks

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid professional driver’s license (appropriate for vehicle type).

Clean driving record with proven driving experience.

Knowledge of local routes, roads, and traffic regulations.

Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to [weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs]).

Good time management and organizational skills.
