Key Responsibilities
Transportation & Delivery- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods to assigned locations
- Ensure on-time delivery based on schedules and routes
- Verify delivery details (DR, SO, quantity, items, destination) before dispatch
- Assist in loading and unloading when needed
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections (brakes, tires, lights, fuel, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness and proper vehicle condition
- Report mechanical issues or damages immediately
- Ensure all vehicle documents are complete and updated
- Handle delivery documents (DR, Manifest, Trip Tickets, Gatepass)
- Secure proof of delivery and customer signatures
- Record trip logs, fuel usage, mileage, and delivery status
- Report delays, issues, and discrepancies promptly
- Follow traffic laws and company driving policies
- Use proper uniform and PPE
- Ensure cargo is properly secured
- Practice defensive driving at all times
- Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams
- Maintain professional and courteous behavior with customers
- Address basic concerns and escalate when needed
- Ensure safe handling of items to prevent damage or loss
- Protect cargo from theft or unauthorized access
- Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies immediately
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Logistics and Distribution Supervisor
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications- College level or Senior High School graduate
- Valid professional driver’s license (appropriate restriction codes)
- Proven experience as a delivery or logistics driver
- Experience in distribution or spare parts industry is an advantage
- Familiar with local routes, traffic regulations, and navigation tools
