Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Specialist to join our team and manage the online presence of our banking and loan services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms, digital content creation, and engagement strategies tailored to financial services.

This role requires someone who can effectively promote our services, educate our audience, and strengthen client relationships through consistent and high-quality social media content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter
  • Create graphics, reels, and posts that align with brand voice and educate audiences about banking and loan products
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and engage with followers in a professional and timely manner
  • Track social media metrics and adjust strategies based on performance insights
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., loan officers, customer service) to share relevant updates and promotions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor strategies, and platform algorithm changes
  • Manage ad campaigns on social platforms and provide basic reporting on ROI
  • Ensure all content complies with relevant banking regulations and internal compliance standards
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in finance, banking, or a regulated industry
  • Strong copywriting and graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar tools)
  • Proficiency in social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later)
  • Knowledge of social media best practices for audience engagement and brand awareness
  • Comfortable interpreting data and optimizing campaigns based on insights
  • Excellent English and Spanish communication skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred
