Junior Solar and BESS Design Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Jr. Solar and BESS Design Engineer to support the design and analysis of solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems. The role involves preparing technical drawings, system layouts, specifications, and bill of materials for project tenders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize solar PV (ground and rooftop) and BESS systems
- Prepare single-line diagrams, layouts, and system drawings
- Perform system sizing, calculations, and performance analysis
- Develop technical specifications and BOM
- Review project requirements and tender documents
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with local codes and standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or related)
- Fresh graduates or with at least 1 year experience are welcome
- Knowledge in solar PV systems is an advantage
- Familiar with AutoCAD, MS Office (PVSyst/Helioscope is a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in English
Other Details:
- Working Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Willing to travel and render overtime if required
