Staff Nurse

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Must be a licensed Nurse.
• At least 1-2 years of experience is an advantage.
• Willing to be assigned on either Shinagawa LASIK or Shinagawa Healthcare (Diagnostic)
• Willing to be assigned in Taguig.

Job Responsibilities:

• Obtains comprehensive relevant patient data through: (a) interview; (b) correct obtainment of vital signs, which include pain; (c) The use of advance assessment techniques that is focused or systems approach; (d) correct interpretation of data obtained from monitoring equipment; and (e) correct interpretation of diagnostic results.
• Maintains complete, accurate, concise, and updated documentation of patient care. Observes procedures and policies pertaining to any aspect of clinical charting and reporting.
• Encodes patients information in the Clinical Information & Management System
• Draft the medical abstract of the patient upon his/her request and ensure that it is checked and signed by the attending physician before issuance to the requesting patient.
• Be attentive to the patient's needs; initiates steps that will comply with their requirements to meet and exceed their expectations.
• Collect patient feedback and keep superiors informed regarding problems or issues in the patient care within the nursing unit.
• Develops, executes and evaluates established plan of care for specific procedures/patient such as but not limited to: care of the emergency and trauma patient. Delivers nursing care consistent with the Patient’s Bill of Rights (i.e. Right to privacy, right to confidentiality, right to refuse treatment)
• Responds to and provide appropriate nursing action for emergent situations.
• Collaborate with the whole health care team to provide a safe, integrated and high-quality plan of care to the patients.
• Observes a high level of confidentiality in all matters related to patient care and delivers nursing care consistent with the patient’s rights.
• Providing assistance to new doctors on board.
• Assist in daily operations and may assist Chief Nurse for creation, revision of SOP, Policy and Procedure as needed.
• Staff Nurse can be assigned to Shinagawa Lasik as needed by the management.
