Scrum Master | Dayshift | Hybrid | Fixed Term (3mos)

Schedule: 9AM-6PM MNL

General Accountability:

• Leads Agile Development squads with autonomy and accountability across several projects/platforms

Responsibilities:

• Supports 1-2 teams on backlogs
• Coaches different levels of hierarchy through agile principles & practices. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills –able to push back
• Proactively provides real-time feedback to keep delivery on track and address issues as they arise. Facilitates resolving impediments or blockers and escalates where necessary
• Is a coach, facilitator, and leader who reinforces target agile behaviors, help improve delivery performance, and satisfaction
• Sets up and facilitates Agile ceremonies and processes
• Facilitates the adoption of agile principles & practices
• Helps educate the squad on Agile practices and identifies Agile Team improvement opportunities
• Focuses squads on value creation
• Facilitates and actively participates in Agile events
• Identifies obstacles to team performance; facilitates resolution and escalates where necessary
• Identifies opportunities to increase feature velocity
• Greater positive impact to specific organizational entities
• Able to quantify impact of work to demonstrate value

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

• At least 2-4 years with experience as a Scrum Master delivering complex technology solutions
• Strong working knowledge of key aspects of role
• Staying abreast of developments in own technical discipline and able to recognize and translate these to own working environment
• Possesses analytical skills and appreciates complex situations to achieve resolution
• Scrum Master certification
• Working knowledge of business intelligence, business process, and/or correspondence management platforms and integrating systems via API/web services is preferred
• Knowledge of Agile planning and tracking tools
• Good verbal and written communication; able to effectively articulate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes
