Senior Finance Manager New

The ideal candidate is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with strong exposure across all facets of accounting, financial management, compliance, and strategic business partnering. This position is based in Santo Tomas.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will serve as a key business partner to senior management by providing data-driven recommendations, optimizing financial performance, and ensuring alignment with both local and global corporate standards.

• Lead and oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities
• Manage overall accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance with Philippine taxation laws, IFRS, and corporate policies
• Direct month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
• Monitor manufacturing costs, operational expenditures, and profitability analysis to drive cost efficiency initiatives
• Coordinate with external auditors, government agencies, banking institutions, and other key stakeholders
• Develop and strengthen internal controls, risk management frameworks, and process improvement initiatives
• Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to support executive decision-making and business planning
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance and accounting teams
• Support capital expenditure planning, investment analysis, and long-term corporate financial strategies
• Ensure compliance with global and Japanese headquarters' financial reporting standards and operational requirements
• Oversee cost control measures, inventory management, and operational financial analysis
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and operational departments to enhance overall business performance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on financial processes, operational efficiency, and productivity enhancement

• Must be a graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• More than 20 years of solid experience in Finance and Accounting, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Strong background in financial management, accounting operations, manufacturing finance, taxation, audit, and regulatory compliance
• Proven track record in driving financial performance, process optimization, and strategic financial planning
• Strong leadership experience in managing and developing finance teams
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Adept at implementing internal controls, mitigating financial risks, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards
• Capable of delivering accurate financial reporting and providing strategic guidance to senior management
• Experience working in multinational or Japanese manufacturing companies is highly preferred
