Client Success & Digital Marketing Manager

Work Environment & Reporting Structure:

This is a fully remote position with flexible working hours, with some overlap required for meetings and team collaboration across global time zones.

You will report directly to the Managing Director and collaborate closely with creative, strategy, development, and project teams. Our culture emphasizes initiative, accountability, and open communication, giving you autonomy while ensuring you’re supported by a team of experts.

  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building trust and understanding their business goals. Manage expectations, provide clear communication, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Multi‑Channel Campaign Planning & Execution: Develop and implement integrated digital marketing strategies across SEO, paid search (Google Ads, Meta Ads), social media, email marketing and content creation with the support of channel specialists within the team. Conduct keyword research and content planning to improve organic search performance, and oversee the setup and optimisation of paid campaigns
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimisation: Track and analyse campaign performance using analytics tools such as Google, Meta and LinkedIn Ads, GA4, Looker Studio, SEMrush, Ahrefs and others. Manage and report on A/B tests, experiments and conversion‑rate optimisation to improve results
  • Reporting & Presentations: Prepare and deliver clear, data‑driven reports and presentations to clients, illustrating campaign performance, insights and areas for improvement. Use dashboards and visualisation tools (e.g., Looker Studio) to communicate progress. Generate regular reports (weekly and monthly) that highlight key metrics, insights and ROI.
  • Budget & Stakeholder Management: Manage digital marketing budgets, forecasting and allocation of resources. Collaborate with internal teams (creative, paid media, SEO, development, strategy) to produce compelling marketing assets and ensure campaigns align with brand guidelines and compliance requirements
  • Team Leadership & Coordination: Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects. Oversee junior marketers or contractors, provide guidance, and maintain project timelines and deliverables in a fully remote environment.
  • Business Development & Account Growth: Identify opportunities to expand services within existing accounts, develop proposals for upsells or new projects, and collaborate with the sales team on pitches.
  • Continuous Learning & Innovation: Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, tools, and industry developments. Introduce innovative strategies or technologies that can enhance campaign performance and deliver greater value for clients.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 6 years of hands‑on digital marketing implementation, including SEO (keyword research and content strategy), paid media (Google Ads, Meta Ads), social media marketing, copywriting or creative execution. Proven ability to manage integrated campaigns from strategy through execution and optimisation.
  • Digital Marketing Tools: Proficiency with analytics and SEO tools, particularly SEMrush and Ahrefs. Familiarity with GA4, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Ads Manager and other marketing automation and CRM platforms.
  • Portfolio & Case Studies: Candidates must provide examples of past campaigns, including case studies that detail project background, strategies used, and measurable results. A marketing portfolio with case studies demonstrates the candidate’s ability to deliver impact.
  • References: Candidates must include professional references within their CV to validate experience and achievements.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Analytical & Reporting Skills: Ability to analyse campaign data, derive insights, and present findings clearly. Strong proficiency in using spreadsheets and data visualisation tools to communicate performance.
  • Communication & Client Management: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex marketing concepts into client‑friendly language and build long‑term relationships.
  • Project & Time Management: Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously in a fast‑paced, remote environment. Familiarity with project management tools like ClickUp, Asana or Monday.com.
  • Remote Work Proficiency: Self‑motivated and disciplined, capable of collaborating across time zones and asynchronous workflows.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Agency Background: Experience working in a digital marketing agency environment, particularly within Australian agencies or with Australian clients. Understanding of local market dynamics, time zones and regulatory requirements is highly valued.
  • Australian Market Experience: Prior experience executing digital marketing campaigns for Australian companies or targeting Australian audiences is preferred.
  • Certifications: Professional certifications such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Blueprint, HubSpot or other recognised digital marketing credentials.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), HTML/CSS, A/B testing tools (e.g., Optimizely or Hotjar) and data visualisation platforms (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau).
  • Team Leadership: Experience supervising marketing team members or contractors, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
