About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Accounting Intern to join our dynamic team at Megawide Construction Corporation. You will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting operations and contributing to the overall financial success of the company.
What you'll be doing- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Performing data entry and maintaining accurate records in our accounting systems
- Reconciling accounts and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions
- Providing support with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Participating in the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborating with the accounting team to identify and implement process improvements
- Assisting with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and independently
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to the success of the organisation
