ABOUT HUAYU KJ GROUP
HUAYU KJ Group is a Philippine-based, privately held group operating
in infrastructure materials supply, equipment leasing, construction,logistics, and trade. The group is established and growing, with
batching-plant operations outside Metro Manila and a head office
in BGC.

JOB SUMMARY
You will be the group's first in-house Head of Legal. You will own
commercial deal work, manage the group's outside-counsel
relationships, and consolidate corporate housekeeping across the
group's entities. You will report directly to the CEO. Day one is
solo; within 18–24 months you are expected to recruit and lead a
small legal team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead and close commercial transactions: subcontracting,
supply, equipment-leasing, and lease/land agreements. Drive
redlines end-to-end; reserve outside counsel for matters that
genuinely need it.- Lead JV and corporate-development work: term sheets,
shareholders' agreements, and definitive documents, in
coordination with the CEO and external transaction counsel.- Own corporate housekeeping for all group entities: SEC GIS,
minutes books, and reportorial filings.
- Manage the regulatory roadmap: PCAB, BOI / PEZA, DOLE, BIR,
and any sector-specific bureaus relevant to the group's
project pipeline.- Build and manage an outside-counsel panel by specialty
(litigation, immigration, tax, IP, regulatory). Negotiate
engagement terms; manage spend.- Handle disputes and pre-litigation: demand letters, AR
- Support immigration and foreign-personnel work: 9G visas,
- Brief the CEO and senior management quarterly on legal risk
- Recruit, mentor, and lead the group's future legal team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Juris Doctor or LL.B. from an accredited Philippine law school
- Active member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, in good
- 8+ years post-Bar, weighted toward commercial / corporate work
(top-tier law firm Senior Associate level or in-house in a
mid-to-large Philippine group)- Track record on at least three of:
— Negotiating commercial contracts end-to-end
— Closing a JV, M&A, or significant corporate-development deal
— Standing up or upgrading corporate-secretarial / compliance
function for a multi-entity group
— Managing a litigation or dispute portfolio
— Coordinating with regulators (SEC, BIR, DOLE, PCAB, BOI)- Strong English drafting; ability to translate legal exposure
- NBI clearance; clean IBP disciplinary record

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
In order of weighting:
- Working Mandarin Chinese — read contract drafts and
- Immigration-law experience — 9G, AEP, Bureau of Immigration
- Construction / infrastructure — PCAB, DPWH, subcontracting, surety bonds
- Logistics / transportation — CPC, LTFRB, fleet operation
- Real estate / land — commercial leases, conversions,
right-of-way, HLURB / DHSUD
Strong candidates typically cover two to three of the above.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS- Monthly salary: PHP 110,000–150,000, commensurate with experience
- Performance bonus: 1–3 months
- 13th-month pay (PD 851)
- SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG; BIR-compliant withholding
- HMO upon regularization
- Indicative total package: PHP 1.65M–2.55M/year
