HUAYU KJ Group is a Philippine-based, privately held group operating in infrastructure materials supply, equipment leasing, construction, logistics, and trade. The group is established and growing, with batching-plant operations outside Metro Manila and a head office in BGC.

JOB SUMMARY
You will be the group's first in-house attorney. You will execute on commercial contracts, support corporate housekeeping across the group's entities, and coordinate with outside counsel on matters that need specialist attention. You report directly to the CEO and work closely with Finance and Operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Draft, review, and redline commercial contracts , subcontracting, supply, equipment leasing, lease/land agreements, NDAs, and service agreements.
- Support JV and corporate-development work alongside the CEO and external transaction counsel: produce summaries, issue lists, and first-pass redlines.
- Maintain corporate housekeeping for the group's entities: SEC GIS, board and stockholder resolutions, minutes books, reportorial filings.
- Run routine regulatory work: PCAB, BOI, DOLE, BIR filings, and follow-ups. Escalate complex matters to outside counsel.
- Coordinate outside counsel on litigation, immigration, tax, and IP matters: brief them, track the work, manage spend.
- Handle pre-litigation work: demand letters, AR collection escalations, contract-breach notices, labor responses.
- Support immigration and foreign-personnel matters: 9G visas, AEPs, ACR I-Cards.
- Provide legal-risk input to the CEO on day-to-day commercial decisions; flag exposure early.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Juris Doctor or LL.B. from an accredited Philippine law school
- Active member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, in good standing
- 5–8 years post-Bar, with meaningful commercial / corporate exposure (mid-tier law firm associate or in-house counsel in a Philippine company)
- Demonstrated experience on at least two of:
— Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
— Corporate-secretarial work for an SEC-registered company
— Working with regulators (SEC, BIR, DOLE, PCAB, BOI)
— Managing pre-litigation or dispute matters- Strong English drafting; ability to translate legal points into clear business recommendations
- NBI clearance; clean IBP disciplinary record

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
In order of weighting:
- Working Mandarin Chinese — read contract drafts and participate in mixed-language negotiations
- Immigration-law experience — 9G, AEP, Bureau of Immigration
- Construction / infrastructure — PCAB, DPWH, subcontracting, surety bonds
- Logistics / transportation — CPC, LTFRB, fleet operation
- Real estate / land — commercial leases, conversions, right-of-way, HLURB / DHSUD
Strong candidates typically cover one to two of the above.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS- Monthly salary: PHP 70,000–105,000, commensurate with experience
- Performance bonus: 1–2 months
- 13th-month pay (PD 851)
- SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG; BIR-compliant withholding
- HMO upon regularization
- Indicative total package: PHP 1.05M–1.76M/year
