Job Title: Senior Architect | Design and Space Planning
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Position Summary:
The Sr Architect for Design and Space Planning is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering high-quality design solutions for office and facility projects. This position leads the design team in conceptualizing, developing, and executing creative and functional space plans that align with client needs, project goals, and company standards.The Manager collaborates closely with internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure all design and planning efforts are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget. The role requires a balance of creative vision, technical expertise, project management skills, and a strong client-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and space planning team in developing design concepts, architectural drawings, and 3D renderings for project bidding, ongoing projects, and internal facility initiatives.
- Coach and mentor team members to ensure consistent compliance with high-quality project standards, honor delivery commitments, and adhere to company policies and processes.
- Coordinate with suppliers for materials, products, and samples needed for project implementation.
- Attend site meetings, inspections, and project briefings at various company project locations.
- Participate in project bidding meetings and support the preparation of bid documents and presentations.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of assigned design outputs and project documentation.
- Effectively communicate with both local and international clients and stakeholders, using fluent English in all correspondence and presentations.
- Present and justify proposed designs to clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Evaluate and curate supplier samples and materials, ensuring compliance with project standards and aesthetics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and external collaborators.
- Foster strong partnerships with clients to understand and fulfill their design needs and expectations.

Qualifications:
- Licensed Architect with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in office interior design, fit-out, and construction.
- Proficient in design software including SketchUp, V-Ray for SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
- Strong knowledge of architectural design and construction principles, as well as applicable building, fire, and safety codes.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts to stakeholders.
- Capable of delivering persuasive design presentations and pitches to clients, when required.
- Experience managing multiple design projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Collaborative team player who can work effectively with construction teams and across departments, especially under time-sensitive conditions.
- High attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
