Assistant Manager (Accounting)

The Assistant Manager supports the AP Manager in overseeing operations, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with financial and audit standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing end-to-end AP operations and service delivery
- Review financial data, reports, and team outputs for accuracy and compliance
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure audit readiness
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve escalated issues
- Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting requirements
- Act as escalation point and backup to the AP Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5–7 years of experience in AP or finance operations
- At least 3 years in a supervisory/leadership role
- Strong understanding of financial controls and reporting
- Experience with ERP systems and process improvement initiatives
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills
